Liberal Democrat MSP for Dunfermline West Jim Tolson says that the Government are not doing enough to develop public transport in West Fife to complement the building of the new Forth Crossing.
Jim Tolson said:
"I asked the Transport Minister today about the Government's public transport strategy. The truth is it hasn't been very well thought out.
"It is vital to have a comprehensive public transport policy to tie in with the new bridge. Thousands of people from Dunfermline and further afield will be relying on the bridge to get to Edinburgh and beyond. As many of them as possible should be using public transport to reduce congestion, save money and do their bit for the environment."
