Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Tavish Scott has criticised the Scottish Government's attitude towards the crisis facing the housing sector in Scotland.
Tavish Scott was speaking after ministers said they would "bring forward" £19 million of investment in affordable housing. This money was part of £100 million of investment which was already announced by Alex Salmond in August.
Mr Scott said:
"New money is always welcome if it is genuinely 'new'. What we have seen today is 'classic SNP', the reannouncing of money which Alex Salmond personally announced two months ago.
"Why does this government continue to fail to get the seriousness of the current crisis facing Scotland's housing sector?"
